If you get sick - Go to hospital if high fever or can't breath

·         Medication for fever, cough & cold (Tylenol, syrups, lozenges)

·         A thermometer to monitor fever

·         Humidifier – breaks up cough and chest congestion

·         Rehydration solutions – Pedialyte or Gatorade.  If you don’t have                  then take four cups of water and add  2 tablespoons of sugar and a                pinch of salt

·         Emergency bag of necessities in case you need to go to hospital – family members unlikely to be  able to accompany you.  You are likely to be alone.  Making a list of your prescription medications and putting it in your bag is a good idea because you may not be in a position to speak for yourself.
